THE HEART'S EYE
|
"It's mission... to catch sight
of something which has always
existed .. without ever being seen
by our two eyes, and express
this with our own body."
—Hiroyuki Aoki, Founder
Mount Madonna Center
2004 marks Pacific Shintaido's third visit to this peaceful
mountain top retreat. While surrounded by 355 acres of open
meadows and redwood forests, guests of
Mount Madonna will
enjoy a 100% vegetarian menu, accommodations to suit
individual needs, and 24 hour access to the onsite gymnasium
dojo. Massage facilities are also available.
Kangeiko
This word translates literally to mean "cold weather
practice." A traditional Kangeiko curriculum includes kenjutsu
(sword practice). Participants will have the opportunity to study
kenjutsu by using the Shintaido bokutoh (wooden sword).
